Oh my GAWD you guys. Someone spilled secrets of the new One Direction album…and that “someone” happens to be the Ginger Jesus himself, Ed Sheeran! When asked about his amount of contribution to the album, Sheeran told MTV News:
“I haven’t done any songs on this one; I’ve actually kind of cut myself from giving any people songs at the moment, because I want to make my album. I was approached, and it wasn’t so much a ‘No,’ it was just a ‘I want to write tunes for myself at the moment.’ Once my album’s done, then we’ll see, but their album is already finished.”
Now, don’t go and get too excited quite yet, because One Direction’s official rep has said:
“The guys are still very much working on their new album, there won’t be one released with the film.”
Hmm…something’s not right here. I guess only time will tell! What do you guys think: does Sheeran just not have his facts straight, or is 1D hiding something from us?
