I wasn’t sure if it was possible to be wowed by yet another upcoming 2013 festival, but here I am trying to pick my jaw back up from the keyboard so I can spread the word. The Sasquatch! Festival will be held at the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington from May 24-27 (Memorial Day weekend) and if last year’s event sold out, I wouldn’t wait too long to grab your passes for this one.
The newly announced lineup features some of (most of?) the biggest names in indie, including Mumford & Sons, The XX, Sigur Ros, Vampire Weekend, the Lumineers, and the newly reunited Postal Service. Music isn’t the only thing Sasquatch! has to offer; they’ve lined up some top-notch comedians for attendees to enjoy as well, including Nick Offerman, Jon Daly, and (probably my favorite comic) Mike Birbiglia.
Get your camping gear ready (and save up an extra three bucks for a shower) because this thing is four days long and jam-packed with must-see acts. Check out the rest of the lineup here and tell us who you’re most excited to see!
